Subject: Call for Expressions of Interest – Future Youth Provision at SLYC
The Board of Trustees of the Samuel Lithgow Youth Centre (SLYC) announces the formal launch of the Expression of Interest (EOI) process to identify a financially resilient and youth-focused successor organisation for our site at 69–75 Stanhope Street.
This structured and solvent transition is being managed in close partnership with the London Borough of Camden (LBC) and Oury Clark Chartered Accountants. Our primary objective is to secure the long-term future of the centre as a vital community asset for the children and young people of the Regent’s Park Estate.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-capacity partner to take on a 40-year peppercorn lease. The successor will assume management of a high-quality facility featuring a fully-equipped sports hall, gym, dance studio, and IT room. The successful partner must demonstrate the operational capacity to manage a Full Repairing and Insuring (FRI) lease and the strategic vision to lead the centre into its next chapter.
Assessment Framework
Submissions will be evaluated against four core pillars:
- Strong Governance & Financial Resilience (30%)
- Youth Work Expertise & Safeguarding (30%)
- Vision & Camden Partnership (20%)
- Community & Stakeholder Engagement (20%)
Timeline & Submission
- EOI Launch: Tuesday, 17 March 2026
- Submission Deadline: Monday, 20 April 2026, 09:00
