HOLIDAY PROGRAMME

 SLYC is the only organisation in the Regent’s Park Ward which offers children and young people a structured and comprehensive Holiday Programme. The sessions take place 11 weeks per year; Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 6pm and the average attendance was 52 children and young people per session. In the past 12 months, 300 children and young people [aged 10 to 18] attended the sessions. The Holiday Programme, provided a variety of activities for disadvantaged children and young people, which helped them towards their emotional, physical, and educational development. In 2017 / 2018, the following activities have been delivered: (i) T-shirt Design Workshops; (ii) Jewellery Making Workshops; (iii) Mosaic Workshops; (iv) Life Coaching Workshops; (v) Graffiti Workshops; (vi) Gym Sessions; (vii) Football sessions; (viii) Table Tennis Tournaments; (ix) Pool Table Tournaments; (xi) Cyber Café; (xii) CV Writing & Job Searches; (xiii) DJ / Mcing Sessions; (xiv) Healthy Eating & Cooking Workshops and Juice Bar; (xv) Boxing Camp; (xvi) Holiday Trips (Go Karting / Ice Skating / Trampoline Park / Bowwling).
