YOUTH PROJECTS

As a specialist based organisation, the SLYC has an established track record of addressing the needs of children and young people at risk of child poverty. Last year we had over 18,000 users’ visits by disadvantaged children and young people (8 – 19s), who used our facilities and benefited from a series of structured activities. Four Youth Projects take place at SLYC:

                        WOMEN’S FITNESS PROJECT

                                                         (Term-time only)

  • Zumba Classes – Tuesday, 10am to 12pm  (with Creche)
  • Aerobics Hit & Circuit Training – Wednesday, 10am to 12pm (with Creche)
  • Dance Fusion – Thursday, 10am to 12pm (with creche)
  • Yoga Classes – Friday, 10am to 12pm (with creche)
  • Free use of Community Café, for snacks and refreshments Tuesday to Friday (10am to 12pm)

                        COMMUNITY GYM

  • Mixed Gym – Tuesday, 10am to 2pm  
  • Women’s Gym – Wednesday, 10am to 2pm 
  • Mixed Gym – Thursday, 10am to 2pm  
  • Mixed Gym – Friday, 10am to 2pm
